Real-time Move Updating -- Answers in Seconds!
Envelope Manager Software's Internet Move Updating is real-time address move update correction technology, available as an option to AlphaMailer and Envelope Manager PAVE users. It's a unique, online method of comparing the names and addresses in your database with those listed in the USPS FASTforward^SM* system. The process checks to see if any of the people in your address list have requested that the USPS forward their mail to a new address by submitting a "Change of Address" card. The USPS now requires that all First-Class discount mailers update their address lists using an USPS-approved address update tool every 6 months to qualify for postage discounts.

Quick and Easy, Available Anytime
Internet move updating is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The process is similar to Envelope Manager's Internet Dial-A-ZIP. Your addresses are compared to those in the Change of Address file using your Internet connection -- no waiting! Average processing speed is 1000 addresses in under 6 seconds. Seamless integration allows you to "move update" your list without the importing/exporting hassles that can result from using a service bureau. Envelope Manger provides automatic record matching -- presenting each move update address with the "old" address for review and approval, then updating the addresses. And Envelope Manager prints a hardcopy report of the potential move matches and the National Deliverability Index statistics required by the USPS.

Security
For security, all addresses in a list are protected by Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protection, which is the industry-standard encryption for Internet e-commerce.

USPS Requirements
You will need to sign a processing acknowledgement form that can be printed from the first FASTforward processing screen in Envelope Manager PAVE or AlphaMailer. This document has to be mailed to Envelope Manager Software and must be on file at our site before you can begin using the move updating feature. The agreement is valid for a period of one year (renewable) and affirms that you will be using the Change of Address information for mailing purposes only.

The USPS also requires that a minimum of 100 unique addresses must be submitted for each job. Each job will be recorded against your account number, and reported on a monthly basis to the USPS. The actual addresses you submit are not recorded, just the accounting statistics.

Plan A
$100 Annual fee + $6/1000 records submitted processing fee.
(Recommended for mailers who anticipate processing less than 50,000 records per year.)

Plan B
$300 Annual fee + $2/1000 records submitted processing fee.
(Recommended for mailers who anticipate processing more than 50,000 records per year.)
