This error indicates a problem creating a file.
It is usually encountered by Envelope Manager PAVE or Neopost Business Mailer users when attempting to export the database in tray order (during a presort).
Rather than simply typing in the file name of the tray-order database you wish to create (see NOTE 1 below for an explanation as to why this is wrong), what you need to do is to click on the yellow, browse folder located to the right of the File Name field instead.
After clicking on the browse folder, select the directory in which you would like to create the database in, enter the file name, then click Save.
NOTE 1: If you simply type in the file name of the database you wish to create, the software has no idea where to save the file because the drive and path isn't specified.
| Example |
| Traydatabase.dbf |
Program has no idea where to save this file |
| C:\Winem\Traydatabase.dbf |
Program knows to save it in to the C:\Winem directory |
If the problem returns repeatedly, do not just follow these instructions each time! Call our technical support department with the error message on the screen. If you are unable to call at that time, write down all of the text in the box with the error -20 exactly as it appears. Be sure to include the entire path with the three character extension at the end. (The path looks something like c:\winem\mydata.sdx.)
