Can DAZzle print directly to a PDF (Adobe Acrobat) file?

Yes! Don't be confused, though. Adobe Acrobat is the "big brother" to the free Adobe Acrobat Reader, which can be downloaded from any number of Web sites. Acrobat Reader can only open, view and print existing PDF documents. The full-blown Adobe Acrobat (sometimes called Exchange) permits you to create PDF documents from any other windows application!

When Acrobat installs, it essentially adds a new entry to your list of printers. So, if you need your artwork in electronic PDF form, you simply select the Adobe driver in the list of printers. (In DAZzle, choose Printer Setup from the File menu.) When you actually print, a box pops up and prompts you for some optional header information (name of PDF job, author, etc) and the name of the file you wish to create.

After you fill out this dialog and press OK, the file is created. You can check your work by opening up the PDF file with Acrobat and printing it to a hardcopy printer.
